Most of the trees in our neighborhood still have many colorful leaves like this...

but with the rain we've had the past few days,

and the continued rain and strong winds we're expecting from the storm  

I'm sure they will be looking alot like this tree before too long.

I don't like the look of the bare trees.

It makes the land look desolate.

I look forward to the winter landscape...  

the snow covered trees, bushes & roofs.

Now...

if we could figure out how to keep it off the roads!

My favorite flower of Summer...

plus, I love eating the peas!

It's been way too hot for me this summer...

and as the map of the country shows... I'm sure for most of you too.

I live about 2 miles from Lake Ontario, so alot of the time we get cool breezes, and that helps, but not always...

I wish I could just hang out in the water... all of the time.

I don't have a pool... so thats not going to happen!
